MERIDIAN LINES: Songs from the Edge of the World is three-part recording project that charts a course across musical genres: REFUGE (2025), bringing together Buddhist and Jewish mantras with songs of love and grief, RECKONING (2026), a cinematic pop odyssey through the enchantment and disorientation of the United States as seen from the perspective of an American Expat looking back, and BALLADS IN EXILE (coming in 2028), songs about women on the margins from musicals written, but put on hold, during Kamler’s 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Told by a feminist songwriter traveling across borders and boundaries, mapping the geography of time, age, and memory, and seeking a home through spiritual and inter-cultural community, these songs are a celebration of liminality– of life on the edge as a space of freedom, vision, and reclamation.
